Pool & Outdoor Living Design
The outdoor experience your home deserves — pool, terrace, garden as one.
Start Your ProjectA pool is not simply an aesthetic element in the garden — it is the heart of the outdoor experience, and the place around which all other elements gather. The design of a pool environment should begin not from the pool itself, but from the life that surrounds it: how people approach it, how they move between inside and outside, where they sit and eat and socialise, how they seek shade and privacy.
At Stones Jordan, we design pool environments as integrated outdoor living spaces — coordinating the pool with the terrace, dining areas, garden, and connections to the interior. We consider infinity edges, baja shelves, jacuzzis, water features, and the landscape that frames the experience. We coordinate with pool contractors to ensure the result feels like a natural extension of the home.
Pool design in Jordan requires specific material knowledge: which pool finishes hold their colour in the sun, which paving materials stay cool underfoot, which planting provides shade and privacy without root interference, which outdoor furniture withstands Amman's winters. We make these decisions from experience — not from catalogues.

How does pool design connect to the overall landscape? The pool is the heart of the outdoor experience. We design it to integrate with the building form, people movement, views, surrounding garden, seating areas, and the lifestyle of the owners. The pool should feel like a natural extension of the home — not a separate installation placed in the garden.
What outdoor materials work best in Jordan's climate? Materials must handle direct sun, temperature variation between summer and winter, and regular use. We select paving that stays cool underfoot, pool finishes that hold their colour in the sun, and outdoor furniture that withstands Amman's winters. These decisions come from experience, not just from catalogues.
Can you coordinate with our existing pool contractor? Yes. We regularly coordinate with pool contractors to ensure the pool design aligns with the overall landscape vision. We provide coordination drawings that give the pool contractor the information they need, while ensuring the result integrates seamlessly with the terracing, planting, and lighting around it.View all service questions
