The project story
A 400 sqm Landscape Design in Riyadh – KSA
Simple, durable, and luxurious – without the stress of remote management.
Faisal has a 400 sqm outdoor space in Riyadh. He dreamed of a private retreat – a pool to cool off, a water feature to create calm, a BBQ area for entertaining, and comfortable seating for family gatherings.
But he had constraints.
He wanted it to look luxurious – but not complicated. He wanted materials that are durable – able to handle Riyadh's heat and sun without cracking or fading. And he wanted a design that could be built easily – without custom nightmares or endless change orders.
He also wasn't sure about the budget. He needed a design that respected his financial limits while still delivering the wow factor.
And he was busy. He didn't have time to manage multiple revisions or chase down details.
We listened. Then we designed.
— WHAT WE DID —
We started with a video call. Faisal showed us his empty plot. We asked: "How do you want to feel when you walk outside?"
"Relaxed," he said. "Like I'm on vacation. But I don't want to spend a fortune maintaining it."
We created a design around four zones, using local materials that respect the climate.
The infinity pool – We used local travertine, which stays cool under the Riyadh sun and ages beautifully. The clean, geometric lines make it timeless. No complicated curves, no expensive tile work.
The vertical stone water feature – This is not just decoration. It is designed to act as a natural cooling system for the seating area. Water trickles down the stone, pulling heat from the air and creating a gentle breeze. Faisal loved the idea of sitting there on a 45°C day, feeling the drop in temperature.
The seating area – Surrounded by greenery, optimized for airflow and social flow. Perfect for family gatherings. The lowered position catches any natural breeze and keeps the space feeling intimate.
The BBQ area – A built-in stone grill with counter space and storage. Durable, weather-resistant, and practical.
Night lighting – We strategically placed warm LED lights to highlight the native olive trees and the geometric stone lines. The space transforms at night – it becomes a glowing, magical extension of his home.
We delivered 3D renderings, material samples, and detailed construction drawings. Faisal approved everything remotely. No flights. No stress.
— THE RESULT —
Faisal now has a complete design package. He knows exactly what to build, what materials to buy, and how much it will cost.
The design is simple – no overcomplicated features. Durable – local travertine and native olive trees are proven performers in Riyadh's climate. Luxurious – clean lines, elegant lighting, and a resort feel that works day and night.
He plans to start construction next season. And he knows the design will stay within his budget because we value-engineered every choice.
