Design Consultation

The right advice at the right moment can change the entire outcome of a project.

Not every project requires a complete design service. Sometimes the design already exists. Sometimes the construction has already started. Sometimes a client simply needs a second professional opinion before making an important decision. Which material is more appropriate? Does this layout work? Is the lighting plan adequate? Should this wall be modified? Does the furniture arrangement support the way the space will be used? These may seem like individual questions — but the right answer can influence the quality, functionality, cost, and long-term value of the entire project. With more than 25 years of experience across interior design, landscape design, materials, construction, and project execution, our team can provide an informed perspective at different stages of a project. The earlier a design issue is identified, the easier it is to resolve. Material decisions are among the most visible choices in any project — but choosing a material is not simply about appearance. We consider application and function, durability, maintenance, scale and proportion, lighting conditions, relationship with surrounding materials, and availability. This allows our recommendations to remain connected to the project rather than being based purely on aesthetics. Clients sometimes approach us with designs prepared by another architect, designer, or contractor. In such cases, our role is not necessarily to replace the existing team — we can provide an independent professional perspective where required. An experienced second opinion can be particularly valuable before decisions become difficult or expensive to reverse. After the session, we provide summary notes covering the key recommendations. Consultations are available in our Dabouq studio, on-site anywhere in Amman, or via video call for GCC-based clients.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently asked about this service

01How long is a design consultation?

A standard design consultation session is approximately one to one-and-a-half hours. For larger or more complex properties, we may recommend a longer session or an initial video call followed by a site visit. The format is agreed in advance.

02Is a consultation commitment-free?

Yes. The first consultation is free. We discuss the space you want to design, your goals, your budget and your timeline, so we can decide whether Stones Jordan® is the right fit for your project.

03What should I bring to a consultation?

Any information you have is useful — property plans or drawings, photographs of the current condition, reference images for style or mood, a list of your requirements or priorities, and any budget information you are comfortable sharing. You do not need to have any of these prepared; the consultation can still be productive with just a description of your project.
