COMMON QUESTIONS
Frequently asked about this service
01How is commercial design different from residential?
Commercial projects introduce regulatory requirements (municipality approvals, fire safety, accessibility), brand alignment, operational requirements, execution speed as a real business value, and often more complex MEP systems. In commercial projects, every additional day before opening affects revenues and the operations plan. Decisions made in the wrong order cost time and money — our process is structured specifically to prevent this. A beautiful space that does not function well is not a success.
02Can you design a restaurant, café or hospitality concept?
Yes. For restaurants, hotels, resorts, and healthcare spaces especially, the design must serve two groups simultaneously: the guest or customer seeking comfort and a memorable experience, and the staff who need an environment that helps them work efficiently. We study visitor behaviour, length of stay, movement patterns, privacy requirements, and the relationship between staff and visitors. We cover service flow planning, kitchen coordination, FF&E specification, brand identity integration, lighting for atmosphere and function, and full technical documentation.
03How does design serve the office environment?
The office carries an indirect message about the company. When a client enters the headquarters, they do not only see the furniture — they feel the way the company thinks, its level of attention to detail, and its professional values. Employees also spend a large part of their lives in the work environment, so office design affects their sense of comfort, belonging, and pride in where they work. We balance practical function, psychological comfort, privacy when needed, shared spaces, appropriate lighting, and an inspiring work environment.
04Do you handle municipality submissions?
We prepare the design documentation needed for municipality submissions and coordinate with the relevant technical parties. Successful commercial design must account for all regulatory requirements from the beginning — safety requirements, emergency exits, lighting and electrical systems, accessibility requirements, and the necessary approvals and permits. The formal submission process is typically led by the client or their appointed project manager, with our documentation as the basis.
